Tell us about yourself:
I'm an automotive repair man and businessman. I had my own business up until 2018, when I came down with third stage rectal cancer, so I went through major surgery and then spent 9 months of 2019 in intensive chemotherapy and radiation. Since then I've had to retire and I've been in recovery. I've got three years clean from cancer. I just take one day at a time. I love camping, traveling, and my family life. I am blessed to be living because I have plenty of my friends that are not. From my former student to a colleague and others, and that’s hard.
In the summer of 2018, Kassidy Gard started having seizures. On her 12th birthday in September, Kass had an appointment to figure out what was going on. This appointment revealed a large brain tumor.
