Official Raffle Rules
PRIZE
The Heartland Cancer Foundation (“HCF”) is conducting a Raffle with a Louis Vuitton Purse as the “Prize”.
ELIGIBILITY
Each purchaser of an entry ticket must be an individual 18 years or older at time of the entry purchase. Only one (1) individual may be identified as the purchaser of the Raffle entry. An individual may purchase more than one entry. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Entries may be purchased via the Internet, by mail, or as may be otherwise designated by HCF. Tickets will be mailed to all purchasers at the billing address provided at time of purchase. All email communications, including the email ticket purchase confirmation, will be sent to the email address supplied at time of purchase. It is the purchaser's responsibility to provide a valid, deliverable mailing address and email address to HCF. HCF, its directors, officers, volunteers, agents and contractors assume no liability for any lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, undelivered entries or entries without proper payment received, which entries shall be deemed invalid and shall be immediately disqualified. HCF's Board Members are not eligible to participate in the Raffle. By entering the Raffle, the purchaser acknowledges that he or she is aware of, and agrees to abide by, these Rules.
DRAWING
A maximum of 1,000 tickets will be sold. The winning purchaser entry for the Prize will be announced on September 15, 2016. All online entries must be purchased by 1:00 p.m. (CDT), September 15, 2016 to be eligible for the drawing. HCF reserves the right to accept or reject any Raffle entry, modify or extend the Prize drawing deadline, and/or add additional Prizes or drawings at any time, in its sole discretion.
RETURN AND CANCELLATION POLICY
All Raffle entries are non-refundable.
NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS
The Raffle entry winner will be notified in writing, by email, or by phone, and will be told the procedure to claim the Prize. The Prize must be picked up in person with proof of identification and be available for a photo. The winner shall have ten (10) calendar days from notification to claim the Prize. If the selected winner is unable to be contacted or located after a period of ten (10) days from the draw date the Prize will be deemed to have been donated to HCF. The winner, by entering, authorizes HCF to publish the winner’s name and photo on HCF’s website and for use with other promotional materials by HCF.
TAXES
The winner shall be responsible for any and all federal, state and local income or excise taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the Prizes.
WAIVER/LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
Entry purchasers, by participating (and winner, by accepting a Prize) release HCF and its respective board members, agents, volunteers, and contractors from any and all liability with respect to participation in the promotion and possession or use of the Prize and acknowledges that he or she did not receive any representations, warranty or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any Prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness. Any liability of HCF shall be limited to ticket price paid and in the case of any dispute, HCF's decision shall be final.
